Everyone loves you when you're dead.

Charles, Irving-owned media demonized Ron Francis and made his life among us even more unbearable. The man was prescribed a legal medicine by a doctor and he objected to the unfounded stigma attached to his use of that medicine. He got to the root of the issue by taking his medicine in public while on the job, as he had every right to do... the treatment he received from the RCMP was inhuman and despicable. His death and heavily attended funeral reminded me a of line that could not be more appropriate: "Everyone loves you when you're dead." John Bosnitch

Mike Bravener - Entertainer Mike Bravener was born in Etobicoke Onatrio in 1961 and moved to the maritime's at the age of 15. He currently resides in Fredericton N.B. in a beautiful home, with a wonderful wife and 4 children. As a young boy growing up in Southern Ontario Mike would spend a lot of time at his grandparents cottage in a little place known as Johnson's Harbor. Just out side of Owen-Sound Mike would spend his days fishing, exploring and listening to old 78 records and in later years 8 track tapes of some of the great country and western recording artists ever. It was this influence that engraved a deep love for classic country on Mike's soul. At the age of 41 Mike left his career as a Clergyman and entered the world of entertainmnet full-time Mike's 2nd cd, available on Itunes, entitled "Sinner" was recorded with The Rockin Billies. 1000 copies sold in just under 2 years and enjoyed local airplay. The Rockin Billies played at Harvest Jazz and Blues, CBC Galaxie of Rising Stars as well as the Sirius XM Radio stage in Collingwood ON. "Sinner" received great reviews from 3 Rockabilly magazines based in Europe! Mike, however, is perhaps best known as "Elvis" in and around the Fredericton area. Mike's Tribute shows have taken him all over New Brunswick and into Nova -Scotia, Maine, Quebec, and southern Ontario. He has won many awards in the last few years for his tribute to elvis, Including the 2009 Myspace Karaoke Championship in which he beat out over 3000 world wide entries. This win sent him to Memphis where he was declared by Elvis Presley Enterprises as one of the top 20 Tribute Artists in the world. Mike has also performed 4 shows with "Elvis" original drummer, and Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame Member D.J. Fontana. DJ is quoted as describing Mike's show as "One of the best that I have ever seen" Classic Drummer Magazine in a december 2011 issue referred to Mike as Canada's greatest Elvis Tribute Artist. His latest cd, Coverin Hank, will feature 10 classic Hank Williams Sr. tunes and 4 brand new originals. Every instrument, voice, percussion are all done by Mike and recorded at home in his basement during the winter of 2011-12. These tracks are being mixed and mastered by Grammy and Juno award winning studio, Iguana Recording Studio in Toronto ON. Mike is available as a solo artist or with his very talented son, Josh Bravener and he performs with a 4 piece band, Tom Cat Corner, That plays all your favorite Vintage Country Songs, Rockabilly, and originals. The boys headlined, for their debut, at the 2012 Maritime Country Fest! What's Mike up to today?

Is PTSD real or Bullshit???

Charles, What a horrible horrible feeling waking up screaming from a nightmare presented in 3D with tears all ready driping down your chin!!.My god how long did it last.??.I smell, I touch I hear, I feel in 3D.Fast foreward after a extremely intense 3 hour work out.Im back up.Please dont judge my physical appearance Physically I can honestly say im in the best shape of my intire life.I can nail a 1 hour insane cardio with 3 layers of clothing along with a sweat belt and note even take a deep breath.The weights I push is incredible for a man my age.Front delt machine this am 280 lbs for 8 reps final set.Theres 6 machines im maxed out on.Excerise is my release on the devastating disease and if its ever gonna win it will know its been in a fight..Sorry if I offened or scare people by this post but we as a society needs proper education on what PTSD is.Im willing to put a face on it.I wouldnt want this on ky worst enemy. We dont know what the next hour will bring.I pray tonight we have a better night

I didn't know he was going to have his funeral in Fredericton. I just happen to be in the area...No Honored R.C.M.P. Guards....

Charles, RIP Cpl Ronnie Francis.My heart bleeds for the pain you suffered.You was my twin PTSD brother.So many identical symptoms.I hope Ron can finially find peace in the afterworld something he was unable to find on earth.I pray that Rons death wasnt in vain.The front line workers and thats right to management need to be educated on this disease and no one is!!!!.Having mental issues brought on by PTSD the people out there have no idea what horrible things that we deal with...zero!.Is there anyone out there that has forgot 3 complete days in their lives with zero drugs or liquor in ur system and then to wake up in a hospital bed hooked up to machines with your family at the foot of your bed crying??.And to have zero idea how or why ur there!!!..The look I saw on my daughters face that day when I opened my eyes is a look that I will take to the grave with me! People have zero idea about this disease!!... ..... I Lost a friend that day but 2 people was saved with little bit of water and whole alot guts.I remembering comming home that night and grabbing my daughter holding her so tight and crying not wanting to let go.For a couple of tense minutes I didnt really know if I would have that chance to hold her ever again.Didnt even have time to put my gear on.Bare hands and short sleeves!.Would of lost 2 more people if I took time to be concerned about my saftey..Amazing with all the fire and wreckage and loss of life I remembering when it was getting really crazy that my daughters face kept flashing through my mind thinking she doesnt deserve to loose her father today...I guess I passed a test that day that many wouldnt!..Very rough day for me and other PTSD survivors .Many tears have been shed RIP brother!

I always believe that he ran for Political Office. I met the guy yesterday for the first time < charming fellow > and asked him. He never ran for political office. I always say people who becomes popular and runs for political office soon after is not a good thing. I might interview the guy in the near future. Stay tuned....

The National Energy Boards' Intervention Program is a Sham, but Climate Change is Real

According to their web site the National Energy Board describes itself as;

“The National Energy Board (NEB or Board) is an independent federal agency established in 1959 by the Parliament of Canada to regulate international and interprovincial aspects of the oil, gas and electric utility industries. The purpose of the NEB is to regulate pipelines, energy development and trade in the Canadian public interest. These principles guide NEB staff to carry out and interpret the organization's regulatory responsibilities. The NEB is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Natural Resources Canada.”

The primary function of the national energy Board is to regulate pipelines and energy and development within the boundaries of Canada. The NEB is required by legislation to have public consultation in matters relating to pipeline and energy development. However, in order for public consultation to take place either individual(s) or interested parties must first apply as an intervener to the NEB and the national energy Board will decide on a case by case application and whether or not the applicant fulfills the criteria set forth in their policy.

At a recent workshop on energy East pipeline, Robin Tress 350.org organizer explains that the criteria that the NEB put in place put in place is too narrow in its scope to who is eligible as an intervener.

My computer fried Thursday night!!!!

When it rains? It pours!!!!!

I have been visiting a friend so I was using their computer for the latest blogs.

I might be looking for a second hand computer.

Everything seem to be going down. My camera broke down also...:(..I have been using an old camera....:(...you can tell it's not clear...
