That law student in Halifax is making a very bad assumption; if that is how he is going to think about how the internet and IP addresses work, he's not going to go far in criminal justice. Allow this IT expert explain it to the 2nd year law student.
An IP address IS NOT, I repeat, IS NOT, 100% accurate. How do I know this? Because I have used proxies and VPNs that route from different locations, different COUNTRIES. The ability is there to spoof IP addresses as well. Also, a majority of IP addresses that home users use are considered dynamic IPs, meaning they can change on a whim.
And I have to agree with some of the older posts. When you were grabbed by the Edmunston Police Force, and further back the security of the Legislative Building, you screamed like a little bitch. You're not scary Charles, and if someone wanted to kick your little bitch ass, they could easily. Strike your shoulder and you will likely go down in a heap
