Woke up this morning to a thud and then a flashlight coming up my stairs. I said 'Hello' and buddy yelled 'You have to evacuate!' I jumped out of bed and they scurried.
Three men, wearing bandanas over their faces. They are in a red canoe with no motor and were last seen in the back water down behind houses just before the Burton Bridge. RCMP are on the way. Farmers up and down the road are out in boats now looking for them.
Last seen headed down river from my place towards Moxon's Country Pumpkin.
