You actually do NOT have the right to speak to the RCMP if being arrested by the city police. RCMP does not police Fredericton; that is the FPD's jurisdiction. RCMP stays out of other jurisdictions unless they are asked by the municipal police force or another 3rd party for investigations (IE if an officer of the FPD was charged; they'd likely go to another police force or the RCMP to conduct the investigation). The NB Police Commission and the Judicial Council always side with the Police or Judges. I have never heard of a Judge being kicked out, they usually resign before the shit hits the fan. It is best to report lawyers if they do something bad so they have a mark on their file and hopefuly this will prevent them from becoming future judges.

The NB Police Act allows the NBPC to extend the time for complaints to be submitted in serious matters, and also allows the Commission to investigate any matter, without a complaint even being filed, 12 months after finding out the misconduct. They chose not to exercise these powers in the interests of justice, and to exercise their legislated obligations and duties. They do nothing but protect corrupt police and the first three comments are total, ignorant nonsense.
As for the NB Limitation of Actions Act - it provides extended time for any acts of bad faith or wrongdoing that have been concealed (eg by the police, GNB and NBPC refusing to acknowledge their misconduct) and also allows extensions of the limitation periods where the wrongdoing causes ongoing loss and suffering, as in Charles' case. In that case the two year limitation period is recalculated from every new day the plaintiff suffers the effects of the wrongdoing. You people should actually read the legislation before making your ignorant, uninformed comments.
