Blogger Charles LeBlanc apologized to the Members of the Fredericton Police Force......

I must admit that I am VERY surprised by the amount of support I'm getting on the streets from the citizens of this City.

Of course, I also get dirty looks from some of the people I walk by but that's ok, I'm used to it!!!!

But I will admit that it's hard on my brains. (All five of them)

I have had people come to me and tell me that two wrongs don't make a right. You're both acting like children but even children forgive and move on.   Their words have made me stop and think…scary, me thinking.  lol

Maybe it's time that someone makes the first step and apologizes???  Well, maybe it is.  With that being said ……. Let me take the first step.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that if I have offended any members of the Fredericton Police Force, their family members, or their friends by calling these officers Pedophiles, I am sorry for letting my feelings cloud my judgment.  To the officer I called a black piece of shit, again I am sorry.  I was out of line and should never have called you such a name.

Hmmmmmmm.....I'm starting to feel better already .... :)

  3. Looks like an apology to me, you want him to cut a finger off or what?

  4. Yeah, its at least heads above the police chief's version of "I'm sorry that you feel that way". I'm not sure if this is a joke, but its good to see it, but the big question is what this new blog will look like and whether the offense will continue. Apologizing really doesn't mean anything if the conduct continues, but IF Charles recants and apologizes, its certainly more than we've seen from the police, and the fact that New Brunswick is a province where you can expect crazy people to change before civil institutions, well, thats a pretty pathetic society.

  5. Way to go Charles!!! I'm pretty proud of you, and hope you are serious about the apology. Every time I saw your e-mail trashing the police again, it upset me, and I deleted it. There are bad cops, and good cops, but let the good ones catch the bad ones. Do you have a better chance of being harassed by the police if you're a friendly person, or talking against them all the time? They had way more patience than I would have had for sure. lol If you focus on more positive stories, I would invite any media to hire you, because you are a heck of a hard worker. Just remember the police also have families to go home to. I'm sure if you knew there we're son's, daughters, wives, parents and friends of good officers reading your blogs, and feeling the pain brought by your posts, you would have changed your stories long ago. I know it hurt me everytime, because you are a good friend, and I also have excellent friends on the police force. Again, I sure hope this is a real apology, I for one will enjoy reading your blogs if they appear more positive towards our officers. We lost 3 members of the Codiac RCMP here in Moncton, and I'm not interested in hearing anything bad about them anymore. I created a piece of my Artwork in memory of the 3 fallen officers, and I'm pretty sure it's going to end up in Fredericton. That gives you an Idea on how I viewed the police. Here is a photo of me holding the piece that is going to end up at one of the Codiac RCMP stations. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152978505612796&set=a.10150884805092796.525544.672847795&type=1&theater

  6. As a Scot, that's one of the most offensive apologies I've ever read. How old are you?

  7. Charles, do your best to edit what you post on here. If you need any help, let me know. With your 'condition' and mindset, you should always take a step back, take a deep breath and think about what you are going to post... BEFORE you post it.
When you become angry or excited about something, please take the time and find someone to have a look at what you are about to post... it will certainly help you in the long run.
    Have a great weekend!

  9. "As a scot, thats one of the most offensive comments I've ever read".

If thats true, then you don't get out much. Any scot I know hears much worse from members of their own family-and on a regular basis.
And while everybody should be horrified by the Moncton tragedy, and have sympathy for the families, that certainly shouldn't mean that nobody should 'say anything bad' about the police, that would be absurd.

  10. When the FREDERICTON POLICE FORCE THE LAW THAT SAYS NO BICYCLES OR SKATEBOARDS ON THE SIDEWALKS IN THE CITY OF FREDERICTON, THEN I WILL HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR THEM.

And if Archie Bunker said it, my good and decent friend, YOU CAN TAKE IT TO DA BANK!!!!
