FYI: Regarding cancelling the by-election in Dalhousie, read this: Current legislation requires a by-election be called within six months of seat vacated. Takes less than thirty days notice to run a by-election where an additional seat on the opposite side of the House and other circumstances could turn the table of power to the other side which is part of the democratic and parliamentary system and process. The word is that Premier Gallant's decision is one of a totalitarian Government, it certainly is not transparent and definitely not democratic, $150,000! One can't count fast enough how often this Liberal Government waist that money in one year, but when $150000 can call for their fall then it becomes making sense not to spend it. Voters in that riding are being illegally muzzled from their fundamental right to vote.
