I had a rough go at Brad Woodside's event.
First it was snobby event organizers Carol Burtt and Karen Caverhill confronting me in front of hundreds of people < which could have turned VERY ugly very fast >

Then soon afterwards, Cathy Pugh General Manager of the Fredericton Convention Centre comes to degrade me in front of 400 people!!!
It didn't take long for the people at my table to tell her that I was a guest. They just couldn't believe what was going on. Can Snobs truly run an event supporting Portage????
I had trouble with this woman 5 to 6 years ago and I heard she fired many people.
I believe she should be fired also!!!
We DON'T need no Snobby Manger at the Convention Centre!!!!

Well done calling out the judgemental obtusity of the Portage executive committee. I think Ms. Pugh was forced into a tough spot by their interference.

ReplyDeletePardon my french but how fucking presumptuous BOTH of those "so called" Ladies and I use that term loosely where to you JUST because you looked different than the rest of the other High class (and I use that term loosely as well) guests at the function. I would hope that after this goes public which it should BOTH of those people (I won't call them Ladies) should step down from the board of Portage for treating less fortunate people like they are below or not as good as they "THINK" they are. Absolutely sickened by both of those people.....
ReplyDeleteI really like Charles and love his activism. Carol Burtt has spent a major part of her life helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for almost every charity in our community. To use such hateful words anywhere near her name is disgraceful. I ask you Charles, to delete Mr. Pauls comment.

They are so BAD that they didn't have the courage to apologize.....My God? My name was even mention on stage with Woodside's son < I was honoured >..:)Those people must be confronted for their attitude towards with mental illness or less fortunate....She even mentioned calling the Police....sighhhh....believe that I would be there without an invite is insane!!!!

ReplyDeleteA sad day when people automatically assume you don't have a ticket because of who you are or how you look. Not once did she ask Charles Leblanc for his ticket. Those that know him will understand he would have a ticket. Sad how society treats the less fortunate, true sense of snob!

Don't think about the hours that went into planning an event like this .Don't think about how many volunteers have worked tirelessly to help the community with these events .
Don't think about anybody but yourself Charles ,because to do that you would have to admit that you are the one imposing your views on others ,you have become the SNOB !
These women worked hard to achieve their positions in our city , but you call them names and try to harm them publicly ,that is inexcusable .
The good work these volunteers and so may others do for others should be praised not ridiculed .
You at the very least owe these people an apology !

This video is an example of the negativity that surrounds Charles Leblanc. The law does allow freedom of speech but how can people stand by this outright act of sexism. Charles is calling these women bitches and elitist. This group of women has sponsored many women to attend university. The money which is brought in by These charity events which Charles is clearly too cheap to buy a ticket for. There is a lot of bad in this world, charities aren’t one of them. So Charles next time, because there will be a next time you are kicked out of an event you didn’t buy a ticket for, why not look within. Look within and reflect on the fact all you leave on this world is the worst quality of videos filled with bitterness created by the state of your own life.
