Stephen Harper on Complacency - Election 2015

Reblogged: The Left Eye

By André Faust

If implant technology was available to Harper,  you can be assured that this megalomaniac, narcissistic Stephen Harper would make it law that would require all Canadians to have brain implants, giving him, and the state, total control over Canadian consciousness.

Harper, like Lucifer is deceptive, manipulative and is as well as cunning, unlike previous Prime ministers, not including Mulroney. Harper does use the latest science in the manipulation of public opinion. From a strategic point, he seems to favour Manitoba and Alberta, the seat of his support, and if he can maintain control in both of those provinces, paired with voter split for the rest of Canada, then the likelihood of re-election is very much in his favour.

This Harper guy is so desperate to win another election he will use any means necessary to win the election which includes exploiting the primitive emotion called fear to work in his advantage. What it looks like is that he is trying to create a believable myth that Canadians are surrounded by terrorists just waiting commit atrocious crimes upon Canadians, indecently back in the 60’s they were called gorillas, but that adjective doesn’t have as much as an visual impact as the word terrorist.

The problem isn't terrorism as much as that we live in society that glorifies violence, we just need to look the popularity of movies that depicts violence, and the Gangsta sub culture. Look at Justine Bourque, emulating the Rambo character when he successfully liquidated two RCMP officers.   Reality is that there are bad people out there and there is no legislation that can prevent those from doing the bad things that they do. It’s one of the risks that exists, that harm can come to use of which we have no control over. You don’t choose to be in a car accident. Shit Happens.

If old man Harper is successful in selling the big bad boogie terrorist myth to Canadians he will accomplish two things, one, get himself reelected, and secondly, force complacency on Canadians, so in lieu of mandatory brain implants all that Harper dude has to do (in the name of public safety as Bill C-51 suggests) is  change the rules that will muzzle and suppress Canadians for voicing and/or protesting their dissension against a counter Canadian issue by enacting laws that will create a chill effect which will in turn force Canadians to be compliant or accepting whatever Harper dishes out.

If Harper wins this next election god help us all, and our children and grandchildren will pay the price of his re - election.

  1. Seriously, you don't think Chretien or Martin were deceptive, manipulative and cunning? Get real. Chretien said he'd get rid of the GST, and he stamped down human rights so hard that you can barely even get a protest going now even though the legislation is so much worse. That was the PM who actually attacked a protestor.

The liberals axed transfer payments, EI, and other social payments in order to balance the books, and you can go look at the legislation they brought in, they were almost as much a 'law and order' government as Harper, because essentially thats all the federal government has power to do.

He is not 'favouring' the west, its simply reality that the west is the only place with a functioning economy. Canadian governments of both stripes have always served business interests. In fact you are completely wrong, Harper has no fear that he will 'lose' western provinces. Alberta has only elected conservative provincial governments for fifty years, and now seem on the verge of electing an even more conservative one. That's why Harper doesn't have to get into the abortion debate and can pretty much ignore every 'conservative' value out there, because he knows there is nobody else for his base to vote for. He went to Saudi Arabia personally to sell armoured vehicles made in London Ontario so that that country can further trample the rights of its people. He certainly didn't do that for 'the west'.

The liberals would be 'selling' the terror myth just as much as the conservatives. After 911 the liberals brought in Canada's version of the 'patriot act' which brought in secret courts a long time ago and legislation that let people be charged and not even see the evidence against them. That was a LIBERAL government that did that.

You may have noticed that its CANADIANS who have been fighting this new legislation-not the liberal party or the ndp, they are both on the 'whatever makes canadians safer' side. Sadly, about the only thing on canadian's side is that the Supreme Court may rule in our favour, but even thats not a guarantee.

Whether Harper or Trudeau get in is not the point. Harper isn't 'manipulating' anybody. The media trumpets this line more than the government, which people don't really listen to anyway. On a public broadcaster this year, the tying of Islam to terrorism was brought up by the host in every show about the topic. In New Brunswick you'd have to be an idiot to buy that. New Brunswickers remember full well the 'terror' that was brought on by a lone nut with a gun, who certainly was no muslim, he just sounded like a lunatic redneck (no offense to actual rednecks).

And you are kidding yourself, like past Prime Ministers, Harper couldn't care less about canadians. If he's not re elected he'll make even more money like McKenna sitting on Boards of corporations he's helped out. This legislation was brought in because sadly there are far too many canadians who don't give a rat's ass about people's rights. Canadians are already 'complacent', and it has nothing to do with Harper. You are right in your last sentence, but you miss the point, and should also add 'Trudeau', who in case you haven't noticed, hasn't an original thought in his head.
