Fredericton Community Kitchen still have NO DISHWASHER!! WHAT'S WITH THE SECRECY???
Charlies when George and i worked there we would of went to the community for help or to the radio station and with in a couple of Days or so we would of had enough money to get a Top of the line Dishwasher!!!!
Faust Assuming your figures are correct, not that I question your facts ... lol. According to you, a new dishwasher costs 15,000$, and you (heard) through the grapevine that they are going to rent a dishwasher from a local company for 1,500$ per month. (that more than a mortgage, even a lease on a 20,000$ car is considerably cheaper). So by leasing this dishwasher, they will pay 18,000 per year so in two years they will have paid out 36,000$, three years: 54,000, four years: 72,000$ and in five years they will have paid out a total of 90,000$ for a 15,000$ dish-washer machine.
I say for whoever the company is that is a pretty good return on the companies investment, Chances are that the company has marked up the dishwasher by 15% of the company's cost.
If what you say is factual, then an investigation needs to be done. I brand new machine would have at minimum a years warranty on it, then if they get an extended warranty for three years.
This little deal looks suspicious Since it is not-for-profit its minutes should be available for the public to see as well as the financial statements.
