Do animals have feelings???

Do animals have feelings? This is Pete. He was Myra's Pet for years. She died a few months ago from Lung Cancer...< darn cigarette > One day Myra went at the hospital and never came back. Would animals asked themselves where's my friend who feed me since I was a Kitten? Do animals have feelings?? Would they mourned??
