What is a Group Home in Fredericton??? Prescription Drug HUGE problem???? Can the Fredericton Police and The Courts handle people with Mental ILLNESS???
Great post. Charles, I remember you coming to Fredericton and protesting the free and irresponsible prescribing of Ritalin to children. There was and still is no real consideration of how to address the actual learning and health issues - and zero consideration that we would be grooming future prescription addicts with no hope for their future (or maybe that is the plan). Ritalin, like many other prescription drugs, just delays the problems and suspends behaviours that have to be dealt with at some point (which I mean in a polite way to describe a generation that believes pills are the only way to survive.) There are natural and alternative remedies, including tailored and specific learning programs and environments, but they cost money our governments are not interested in paying. If only they could see the business potential.There are plenty of wealthy people who can, and do, pay for their children to go to special needs schools to combat Ritalin related issues but those schools are not in this province. There is a program in Nova Scotia. One of my son's friends went for just one year and came back a confident and able child. This province's schools totally ignored the fact that at 13 years of age he could not write down his homework from the blackboard. After one year in a dedicated professional education environment that understood his learning difficulties he caught up with his peers. It changed his personality and confidence in a wonderful way but his parents had to pay a quarter of a million dollars to do that for him. One more comment: Charles - STOP TELLING THE WORLD WHEN YOU BREAK THE LAW!!! People are convicted for smelling of marijuana. You film yourself cycling on the sidewalk, you admitted on a few posts you punched Andrew Spencer - now you admit to smoking illegal drugs!!! Are you f***ing crazy??? STOP GIVING THEM EVIDENCE and reasonable and probable grounds to hunt you down!!!!!!!!
Just like Bill Clinton....I smoke it but never inhaled.....Punch the idiot so-called Poet? Yep...had to defend myself...ride my bike on sidewalk?..Yep...just like Thousands of others do so in Fredericton every day....What's your point???...As for the Marijuana? ..The Cops would love it if I smoked every day because when I'm stone? I keep my mouth shut and don't blog or go outside!!!!....I hate Marijuana....love my beers but not drugs...every adults should smoke a joint to experience themselves how strong the drug is these days.....Not good.....:(..:(..:(..P.S. No use to raid my place AGAIN....No drugs or child Porn in this little area...:)
Just saying Charles - they treat you differently and you should not give them any reason to come after you. I know they make you angry but.... they are the ones with the guns, tickets and Crown prosecutors in their pockets.
