Canada's Supreme Court has made it clear that it will not, for example, tolerate religious "freedoms" that are contrary to Canadian equality and constitutional laws. Canada's courts and governments should stop being so hypocritical by allowing themselves to violate their own rules and laws whenever they please. I agree we have it better than many countries - that brings no comfort to people who are victimised, violated and falsely convicted of things they did not do, by the very system that disobeys its own legislated standards.
