Technically Zellers hasn't left. HBC still operates some as overstock stores for their HBC/The Bay merchandise. Interesting to see how this affects Sobey's. Target was using them as their grocery supplier. Their supply chain was laughably run. The SKU's and barcodes didn't match what the store and warehouse had, leading to massive backlogs and huge patches of empty shelves. I mean come on, open up 133 stores WITHOUT figuring out a distribution plan???
