This woman is an absolute saint. She has never done anything wrong in her entire life. It is THEY are wrong. THEY don't give her a place to live. THEY don't give her good food like meat fish, fruit and Vegetables. THEY fill her up on carbs. THEY will kill her for sure. Yet she is 100% innocent and is 100% a victim of THEY. Thank God I am one of THEY as I support myself.
The sad thing is homeless shelters are a business and this needs to change. They are not-for-profit businesses and they turn people away on a regular basis for all sorts of issues. They are not set up to cope with alcoholics and addicts, who get thrown out if they use substances while at the shelters. There is no forgiveness and those people are often then blacklisted and refused if they try to get into the shelter in the future. There are also no proper programs to help people get off drugs and liquor. You are lucky if you get a week in a facility at Mental Health and then you are back out on your own and possibly homeless.
The government needs to start shelters that are not about Executive Directors getting $70,000 a year and are about giving people some stability and assistance to do the best they can to get their lives back on track.
This woman could start by taking responsibility for herself. I haven't heard her say I am responsible for where I am. She did not take responsibility for anything. That is why she can't stay in a shelter. She has to participate so others can help.
