Fredericton South NDP Candidate Kelly Lamrock attack during Political Debate!!!!

  1. Lamrock threatened to call the police on a senior voter because his children were mentioned in an email to him. The names of his children were obtained from his bio and he was asked how he was going to explain his actions to them when they grew up. Save your votes for someone who deserves them.

  2. During the flood of 2008 Kelly was indeed at Ground Zero in the barkers point, Maugerville, Sheffield area, he spent a fair amount of time on site monitoring the situation and rendering assistance wherever he could. You may ask how I go I know this, I know this because I live in that floodplain and witness Kelly's activities. Kelly and his fellow liberals worked very hard to get the needed financial assistance to those who were affected by the flood as quickly as humanly possible. Monies were made available within a very short period of time to help the residents start to mitigate their damages. The liberals, capped 80 some thousand dollars to be made available to those homeowners who had catastrophic loss and damage to their property, not to confuse the issue but not every homeowner receives the maximum however did receive financial relief relative to the damage incurred by the flood.

As a Liberal MLA Kelly made sure that the financial assistance was granted in the shortest period of time unlike the 1973 flood where the residence of our area waited many months before the assistance was paid.

Before any assistance could be delivered much organizing had to be done prior to two rendering any assistance. The first was that a team of investigators had to be assembled and then deployed given the timeframe that this was done way short of miraculous. But at the end of the day the residents across the province who were affected by the 2008 flood were taking care in the most expedient manner humanly possible, so Kelly did his job well.

As we know since then Kelly migrated from Liberal party to the NDP, and he's the only one who can tell you why he made that decision, however while he was MLA for the Fredericton Nashwaakis region Kelly attended all the riding meetings that were held except those where he had prior commitments. During the meetings Kelly didn't do the circular dance and the hokey Pokey. Kelly would discuss the issues at hand and would express to the members his feelings about the issues whether they were pro or con.

My experience with Kelly is that you can take his word and go to the bank with, at no time did he ever try to deceive or mislead the members of the riding association he was always above board.

I wish Kelly the best of luck in his election, even though he is no longer affiliated with the Liberal party is still an honorable man.

  3. There is nothing honourable about Kelly Lamrock. The only reason he raised welfare payments was so his lawyer/landowner buddies could get an extra $200 a month in rent. Let's not forget the French immersion fiasco, where he showed he clearly had no idea what he was doing and screwed everything up. Then, when he was Attorney General and Minister of Justice he refused to reply to correspondence about serious corruption issues within the Law Society of New Brunswick and the courts. He is just another dishonest lawyer and politician. Let us all remember that when we cast our votes.

  4. Wasn't Kelly Lamrock one of the idiots who participated in the unlawful ban of Charles from the Legislature? Yes, the memories of how bad he is are all coming back...

  6. I agree with André. He was right there where he was needed and I felt I received a no bull approach. Spoke many times with him and also, find him to be sincere.

  7. I would rather waste my time making a big loud smelly fart then vote for Kelly Lamrock.
He is a lawyer, he was a crooked lawyer that defended some of the crooked fdp cops and made those should be guilty cops Innocent.
He screwed up the education system.
Now the fat pig will probably try to sue me for saying I would rather fart the vote or my fart offended would be voters and we need a victim impact statement.....
Oh he did something for Andre....It was probably only to win support for his future projects.
Next election that flipper flapper will probably run for PC then next election for the green party then he will move on to the fat farter party.
This election is nothing but a farce anyway.

  8. I think Lamrock keeps trying to get back into politics because he wasn't a very good lawyer and doesn't seem to have ever gone back to law. He lost his seat in 2010 because he was not a very good person or politician. He wasn't telling the truth in his little speech here either. His wife is a lawyer and she seems to be the one supporting him and the family, which I applaud her for - but he shouldn't misrepresent the facts. He is a failed actor, a failed politician and failed lawyer.

  9. Kelly Lamrock impugned his own character by the way he answered the question, or rather failed to answer it. He implicitly confirmed the allegation about the pension vote by not denying it or even addressing it. Instead he disingenuously treated it as a character assassination, as if this concerned his private life, rather than corruption affecting the socioeconomic interests of New Brunswickers. Wise voters will not confuse the applause of his party supporters with the reaction of the general public, nor be fooled into seeing photo-op displays of disaster relief as an indication of his character in private, where integrity really counts. Like others, I had an initial impression of Mr. Lamrock as a sincere and sympathetic person, but eventually had to conclude that this was merely his public image, when I witnessed his disrespectful attitude towards people seeking his help in dealing with government wrongdoing - even shutting his door in the faces of women politely talking with him. No, this is not about disagreeing with his ideas, but with his failure to live up to them (a more common flaw in politicians). Fortunately, this election, we have another progressive party for which to vote.
